History

Backstory

Dropkick and his twin brother Fightmaster were born in the distant future. When they were eight, the madman king took their mother, and they never saw her again. Sometime after, Fightmaster and Dropkick joined the rebellion to halt the king's rule. They built a time machine and journeyed to the past to locate something that could swiftly eliminate the king.

Travel back to the past

After returning to the past, the twins aim to steal the Declaration of Independence under the belief that ink from this document could create a poison to kill the king.

During their heist, they inadvertently sent off the alarm and flee the scene with the Declaration of Independence. They successfully incapacitated the police who attempted to intervene. The twins were soon halted by Invincible and Rex Splode. Fightmaster battled Invincible while Dropkick faced Rex Splode. After Rex knocked out Dropkick, Fightmaster continued to punch Invincible repeatedly but failed to inflict any damage. When Invincible saw Multi-Paul coming to eliminate Rex, he took down Fightmaster to rescue Rex.

Upon regaining consciousness, the twins succeed in returning to their timeline with the Declaration of Independence. One of their comrades tests the newly made poison to find out if it eliminates the king, but it turns out that it does not take the king's life.

Save the future

As the weapon fails to eliminate the king, Fightmaster and Dropkick realize that the hero they met in the past might be the one capable of saving the future. While returning to the past, they interrupt Mark and Eve's romantic outing in Paris.

The twins urge Invincible to accompany them. However, Eve ultimately prevented him. They shared their names with the two of them and requested Mark to assist, but Mark refused. Subsequently, Fightmaster and Dropkick ultimately transported Invincible to their future against his will. After arriving in the future, Invincible grew furious and seized both of them by the throat, demanding to know where they had taken him. The twins informed him that they had taken him to the future and stated they would return with the Declaration of Independence after ensuring the future was safe.

Following their disagreement, Invincible put on his superhero suit and inquired about where to put his clothes, but then another Invincible emerged from the portal, grabbed his clothes, and departed. Upon witnessing the destruction of the buildings, Fightmaster and Dropkick informed him that they believed they were the king's spies and explained that they had to go to the work camp daily or witness the public execution. When Invincible requested that they recount the tale ofthe beginning, they indeed shared the story about the king. Having shared their story, they finally touched down. Invincible asked them if the king was a Viltrumite, but they were unaware of their identity.

Dropkick started to fire to distract the drones when the king's drones arrived; Invincible took them out effortlessly. However, Fightmaster and Dropkick informed him that they had to be apprehended so Invincible could meet the king. Upon the arrival of the king's drones, they were placed in handcuffs.

Upon arriving at the palace, the guard informed Invincible that the twins faced execution. Invincible tried to rescue them, but the twins halted him, declaring that they would manage on their own as they were carried off by the king's drones. While the guards were escorting them, Fightmaster and Dropkick took out a guard and succeeded in freeing themselves from the handcuffs, as several guards opened fire while the twins fled.

The twins succeeded in entering the king's palace and witnessed Invincible battling the king. The king spotted them and assaulted the twins, yet Fightmaster rescued Dropkick from being shoved, though the king almost killed Dropkick until Invincible intervened. After the king was slain, they expressed their gratitude to him, but Invincible instructed them not to be thankful. Following their short dialogue, the king's drones emerged, and a guard announced that power had now shifted to the people after the king's passing. Subsequently, Fightmaster and Dropkick returned Invincible to the past.

Legacy

After the king's death, the drones powered down. As a result, all individuals in the future regained their world and started to restore the ruined structures off-screen. Nonetheless, these twins were never encountered again by Invincible because the war had concluded.
