Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Viltrumite Physiology: As a Viltrumite, Elix possessed highly advanced genetics that granted her a wide range of superhuman abilities typical of her species. Like all Viltrumites, her physical capabilities gradually improve over time through age, experience, and prolonged exposure to combat.
- Decelerated Aging: Elix possesses an exceptionally prolonged lifespan due to her biology, which causes her to age increasingly slower over time. This decelerated aging allows her to maintain peak health, physical conditioning, and combat performance for thousands of years.
- Dominant Genes: Viltrumites genetics are incredibly potent and adaptive. Elix, like others of her kind, can reproduce with a wide range of species, with her Viltrumite DNA overwhelmingly asserting itself in the offspring. As a result, the child will typically inherit predominantly Viltrumite traits, often appearing and functioning almost entirely as a Viltrumite. The more genetically compatible the mate’s species is, the faster and more reliably the offspring will manifest the full range of standard Viltrumite abilities.
- Flight: Due to a complex balancing system located in her inner ears, Elix possesses the ability to levitate and propel herself through the air, altering her trajectory mid-flight and manoeuvring seamlessly across various environments. Her control enables effortless navigation across a wide range of settings, including outer space.
- Superhuman Strength: Elix possesses incredible physical strength, as shown when she fought briefly against Omni-Man and Invincible in the viltrumites' ambush on the coalition forces, and the Attack on Talescria.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Elix possesses an extraordinary level of durability, allowing her to withstand devastating physical trauma, extreme impacts, and survive the harshest environments, including the vacuum of space, with minimal injury.
- Superhuman Speed: Elix possesses exceptional speed, capable of traversing vast distances across a planet in mere minutes.
- Superhuman Senses: Elix possessed extraordinary sensory abilities, far exceeding human limitations. Her auditory perception allowed her to hear sounds from great distances with incredible clarity, enabling her to detect even the faintest noises and selectively ignore irrelevant ones. Her vision was equally advanced, providing her with the ability to see distant objects with the same sharpness and detail as though they were right in front of her. Additionally, her heightened equilibrium and balance granted her exceptional poise and stability, allowing her to maintain control and coordination in even the most difficult situations.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Elix possesses an extraordinary healing factor. The recovery rate depends on the severity of the injury. Minor harm takes mere minutes to at most a few days, whereas more grievous harm can take weeks or even months. She can regenerate broken bones, torn muscles, and damaged organs without any lasting effects. Additionally, Elix is virtually immune to most illnesses and contaminants. Even more, her regenerative abilities made her among the few Viltrumites to endure and recover from the Scourge Virus.
- Superhuman Lung Capacity: Elix possesses an extraordinary lung capacity, allowing her to survive without air for extended periods. This ability enables her to operate unhindered in oxygen-deprived environments, such as the vacuum of space without protection.
- Self-Sustenance: Viltrumites possess an extraordinary ability to go without food for extended periods, though the exact duration is not well documented. As a result, their physical needs are significantly reduced, allowing them to function effectively without regular nourishment. Elix, like other Viltrumites, experiences minimal requirements for sustenance, enabling her to endure long periods without food without any significant decline in health or vitality.
- Superhuman Stamina: Elix possesses exceptional stamina, allowing her to engage in prolonged combat or physical exertion without tiring. Like other Viltrumites, her body was built for endurance, enabling her to function at peak performance even after sustaining serious injuries. She could survive wounds that would be instantly fatal to ordinary humans, as Viltrumites typically only succumb to extreme trauma to the heart or brain.
Abilities
- Master Combatant: Elix is a trained warrior who relies on her millennia of experience, making her skilled and formidable in hand-to-hand combat.
Weaknesses
- Excessively High Frequency: As a Viltrumite, High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Elix. It disturbs her balance, restricts her flying capability and induces severe pain. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
- Extreme Force: Like all Viltrumites, Elix remains vulnerable to opponents who match or exceed her own strength and durability. Extreme force from such foes can cause serious harm or even defeat her.
- Scourge Virus: Developed from Viltrumite DNA, the virus can target Elix by compromising her immune systems, deactivating her strength and invulnerability. The sole method of survival is by having a uniquely strong immune system and patiently waiting for the virus to run its course.
