Prisonincible’s title card.
Prisonincible is a supporting antagonist in the third season of the series. He is an evil variant of the main Invincible from a another universe, where he was imprisoned and brutally tortured in a Viltrumite Prison.
Prisonincible was assembled by Angstrom Levy to help start the Invincible War in the mainstream dimension. After the war, he and the surviving variants turned on Angstrom for breaking their deal and were subsequently banished to the Wasteland Universe.
Appearance
Physique
Prisonincible has a physique nearly identical to his original counterpart. He is tall, but completely bald, with no hair at all. He stands out for his significantly bulkier and more muscular build compared to most other Invincible variants. His skin is scorched and veiny, marked by severe burns and a rough texture, and features a deeper tan.
Clothing
Viltrumite Attite
His body is covered by the standard inmate uniform from the Viltrumite Prison Asteroid. His eyes are hidden behind black visors that appear to be fused directly into his eye sockets, giving him an intimidating, almost inhuman appearance.
Personality
Prisonvincible is a ruthless and battle-hardened variant of Invincible who thrives on destruction and chaos. After spending a year enduring physical and psychological torture in a Viltrumite prison, he is eager for violence and shows no remorse or hesitation when smashing through enemies and obstacles alike. Despite the intense suffering he endured, he mocks the carnage around him or treats brutal battles as little more than a routine warm-up.
Like many variants, he is fiercely pragmatic, focused on survival and personal gain rather than loyalty or ideals. His attitude is also marked by dismissive sarcasm and impatience, exemplified when he mockingly responds to Angstrom Levy’s praise with a curt, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’re awesome.” He casually supports torture over outright killing to extend suffering and maintain leverage, reflecting a cold, sadistic streak.
History
Backstory
Most of the variant’s past remains a mystery. At some point in his universe, he was incarcerated in a Viltrumite prison on the Viltrum Asteroid for a year, enduring psychological and physical torture. During this time, he was exposed to the Scourge Virus, which temporarily suppressed his Viltrumite cellular regeneration, weakening his strength and invulnerability. While under the virus’ effects, the prolonged torture inflicted severe, lasting damage, including burnt, veiny skin, hair loss, and deep tan, that his healing factor could not fully repair. Prisonincible survived due to his exceptional physiology, but these scars remain as permanent reminders of his suffering.
Prisonincible was later one of the Invincible variants assembled by Angstrom Levy to initiate the Invincible War and attempt to conquer the mainstream dimension.
Invincible War
Prisonincible plummeting towards the Earth with his identical brethren.
Prisonincible arrived in the mainstream universe through Angstrom's portal alongside the other variants, and immediately proceeded to destroy everything in sight.
During day one of the war, Prisonincible finds Cast Iron (off-screen) tempting to use as a warm-up.
Prisonincible proceeded to attack Russia, crashing through and destroying buildings, and trying to kill as many politicians as possible. He then caught sight of the Russian superhero, Cast Iron, and became eager to fight him as a warm up after being locked up for so long.
Prisonincible destroys Moscow (Kremlin specifically).
The Invincible War lasted for up to three days and near the end of the third day, Prisonincible along with the remaining variants were summoned to meet Angstrom Levy at the Grayson household.
Prisonincible agrees with his alternate selves plan to betray Angstrom Levy.
The variants remained flying above the home and Angstrom eventually showed up. He congratulated them for the death and destruction they had caused which would ruin the good name of the mainstream Invincible, something that Prisonincible appreciated hearing but still got impatient and wished to know what happens next. Angstrom commanded the variants to find the mainstream Invincible, but most of them refused to follow orders anymore, demanding that Angstrom hold up his end of the deal. All the variants turned against Angstrom which led to him opening portals and using his drones to push them in. Prisonincible alongside the rest of the Invincible variants then found themselves trapped in the desolate, wasteland universe.
Legacy
Prisonincible's role in the Invincible War had tremendous repercussions on the mainstream dimensions. Entire cities and countries were reduced to rubble while numerous lives were lost.
Powers & Abilities
Powers
- Viltrumite-Human Hybrid Physiology: Although Prisonincible is technically a Viltrumite-Human hybrid, the dominance of his Viltrumite genetics renders him nearly indistinguishable from a full-blooded Viltrumite.
- Decelerated Aging: Prisonincible possesses possesses an exceptionally prolonged lifespan due to his biology, which causes him to age increasingly slower over time. This decelerated aging allows him to maintain peak health, physical conditioning, and combat performance for thousands of years.
- Dominant Genes: Viltrumites genetics are incredibly potent and adaptive. Prisonincible, like others of his kind, can reproduce with a wide range of species, with his Viltrumite DNA overwhelmingly asserting itself in the offspring. As a result, the child will typically inherit predominantly Viltrumite traits, often appearing and functioning almost entirely as a Viltrumite. The more genetically compatible the mate’s species is, the faster and more reliably the offspring will manifest the full range of standard Viltrumite abilities.
- Flight: Due to a complex balancing system located in his inner ears, Prisonincible possesses the ability to levitate and propel himself through the air at will, capable of reaching extreme speeds. He can effortlessly alter his trajectory mid-flight, allowing for sharp turns, sudden stops, and precise aerial maneuvering. His control enables seamless navigation through a wide range of environments.
- Superhuman Strength: Prisonincible possesses incredible physical strength, easily capable of lifting and pressing several tons. During the Invincible War, he demonstrated his brutal power by laying waste to much of Russia, including the destruction of Moscow and the Kremlin. He also battled and ultimately defeated the Russian superhero Cast Iron in a devastating encounter. Like the other seven surviving variants, Prisonincible was eventually subdued and exiled to the Wasteland Universe, where his fate remains unknown.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Prisonincible possesses exceptional durability, allowing him to resist most forms of physical trauma with only minor visible damage. A prime example of this durability was seen after the Invincible War, where he emerged seemingly unharmed despite the catastrophic events surrounding him.
- Superhuman Speed: Prisonincible possesses exceptional speed, capable of traversing vast distances across a planet in mere minutes. His reflexes and reaction time are highly advanced, allowing him to engage high-speed opponents with precision. During the Invincible War, he demonstrated his speed and destructive capability by flying through and demolishing numerous buildings across Russia in rapid succession, leaving devastation in his wake before opponents could react.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Prisonincible possesses an incredible healing factor. It enable him to heal broken bones, torn muscles, and damaged organs without any lasting effects, even regrow certain lost anatomy like teeth. This healing ability is highly dependent on the severity of the injury. Minor harm takes mere minutes to at most a few days, whereas more grievous harm can takes weeks or even months. Additionally, Prisonincible is virtually immune to most illnesses and contaminants, making him highly resistant to various environmental and biological threats. However, his time in a Viltrumite prison subjected him to extreme, prolonged trauma, compounded by exposure to the Scourge Virus. This combination overwhelmed his natural regeneration, leaving permanent scars: burnt, veiny skin, hair loss, and a deep tan. This demonstrates that even Viltrumite-level healing has limits under sustained duress.
- Superhuman Lung Capacity: Prisonincible possesses extraordinary lung capacity, allowing him to survive without air for extended periods. This ability enables him to operate unhindered in oxygen-deprived environments, such as the vacuum of space without protection.
- Superhuman Senses: Prisonincible possesses extraordinary sensory abilities, far exceeding human limitations. His auditory perception allows him to hear sounds from great distances with incredible clarity, enabling him to detect even the faintest noises and selectively ignore irrelevant ones. His vision is equally advanced, providing him with the ability to see distant objects with the same sharpness and detail as though they were right in front of him. Additionally, his heightened equilibrium and balance grant him exceptional poise and stability, allowing him to maintain control and coordination in even the most difficult situations.
- Self-Sustenance: Viltrumites possess an extraordinary ability to go without food for extended periods, though the exact duration is not well documented. As a result, their physical needs are significantly reduced, allowing them to function effectively without regular nourishment. Prisonincible, like other Viltrumites, experiences minimal requirements for sustenance, enabling him to endure long periods without food without any significant decline in health or vitality.
- Superhuman Stamina: Prisonincible possesses exceptional stamina, allowing him to engage in prolonged combat without showing signs of fatigue. Like all Viltrumites, his biology is optimised for endurance and durability, enabling him to fight effectively even after suffering severe injuries. Viltrumites are known to remain functional unless catastrophic damage is inflicted on vital organs such as the heart or brain.
Abilities
- Expert Combatant: This variant of Invincible possesses formidable fighting prowess.
Weaknesses
- Excessively High Frequency: As a Viltrumite, High-frequency noise can have harmful effects on the ears of Prisonincible. It disturbs his balance, restricts his flying capability and induces severe pain. The frequency's intensity dictates the degree of pain felt.
- Extreme Force: Like all Viltrumites, Prisonincible remains vulnerable to opponents who match or exceed his own strength and durability. Extreme force from such foes can cause serious harm or even defeat him.
- Scourge Virus: Prisonincible was exposed to the Scourge Virus during his imprisonment. The virus temporarily suppressed his Viltrumite cellular regeneration, weakening his immune system and reducing his strength and invulnerability. While weakened, the prolonged torture and extreme conditions inflicted severe damage that his healing factor could not fully repair. Prisonincible survived due to his exceptional physiology, but the scars from this period remain permanently.
