Slaying Mantis is a supporting villain, serving from Season 3 and onward.
Appearance
He wears a large, imposing battlesuit that resembles a mantis. The suit is primarily green and white, further emphasizing the insect theme. The suit incorporates sharp, angular features, mimicking the mantis's appearance.
Personality
His membership in The Order indicates a willingness to engage in criminal activities. He aligns himself with powerful villains, showing his desire for power or profit. However, he was also seen attacking civilians without much known reason, implying he may be sadistic.
History
Slaying Mantis is shown as one of the members of The Order during a meeting where Machine Head takes control of the organization. Machine Head goes ranting about how to change The Order or give some suggestions, and Slaying Mantis raises his hand. It is shown that Machine head calls out his name, showing that he is aware of who Slaying Mantis is then proceeds to curse him out.
Aftermath of the Invincible War
During the opening montage showing the aftermath of the destruction caused by the Invincible War, Slaying Mantis is seen attacking several civilians and also using his blades to slash apart the environment, until he was intercepted by Business Baby and Big Mildew. The latter flings a car at Slaying Mantis who cuts it in half effortlessly. The result of the ensuing fight isn't seen, though it can be presumed Slaying Mantis was defeated and retreated.
Slaying Mantis was later present with the rest of the order when Titan and Mr. Liu are reintroduced into their ranks.
Abilities
- Mantis Suit: Slaying Mantis dons a mantis-themed suit which presumably gives him a boost in agility considering how nimble he appears to be.
- Blades: The suit is armed with mantis-like blades on the arms which allow Slaying Mantis to easily cut through even metal.
